What is a Notary Public?
A Notary Public is a person of integrity who serves as an impartial witness in performing a variety of official fraud-deterrent acts related to the signing of important documents. In New Jersey, notaries are appointed and commissioned by the Secretary of State.
What is a Mobile Notary?
Libraries, banks, and credit unions for instance may provide onsite notary services for free or a nominal fee to their customers at their location during business hours.
If you are unable to travel or just want the convenience of notary to come to you at your location for notarization services, then a mobile notary is for you. Mobile notaries travel to your home, place of employment, or other public location and a fee is charged for that convenience.
What notarization services are offered?
Notarization services for all types of certificates including wills, oaths, affirmations, living trusts, acknowledgments, jurats, powers of attorney, affidavits, and declarations — at your location.
Please note…
I am not an attorney licensed to practice law and may not give legal advice about immigration or any other legal matter or accept fees for legal advice.
A notary is not an attorney and therefore, by law, cannot explain or interpret the contents of any document; instruct one on how to complete a document; direct one as to the advisability of signing a particular document. Any important questions about your documents should be addressed to the lender, title company, or an attorney prior to notarization.
